No More WDPRS Follow-Ups?

I have not received a 45-day WDPRS follow-up since 20-Jan-2008, even though I have filed WDPRS reports almost daily for the past several months. Has ICANN discontinued WDPRS follow-ups?

I have emailed the webmaster a few times about this matter, but as with all emails to the webmaster on any subject, I have never received a reply.

Latin American and Caribbean Domain names

Hi everybody!
I'm new to blogs, so this is just a first message to let all of you know that I am related to ICANN as a Registrar/Reseller of domain names all across Latin America and the Caribbean through a company called LatinTLD, Inc. (www.LatinTLD.com) with my partner Natalia Viera.

If you are also involved with and/or interested in domains in this region, I am definitely interested in hearing about you.

Sincerely,

Alfredo Pinochet

Help Me out

Hello to All,

1- Ist of all i want to know about who is own the .pk?

2- my second question is is any policy avaialable for redelegation of any ccTLD registry , if yes pls give me the link?

3- What is the role of Govt. of Pakistan and its Institutions of PTA, Ministry of IT, if tehy have any power to redelegation, why they not take action on .pk?

4- we are all known as PAKISTANI, but where we are stand, what we do for our Pakistan, our Pakistanis nation, we just do for ourselves. Why we are not appreciating a person who do the good job for Pakistan, why we discourge them?

PKNIC woes -- ICANN requested to review/audit PKNIC!!!

PKNIC has been providing with the worst possible ccTLD services to the Pakistani public. I'd suggest ICANN to urgently review/audit PKNIC's performance. Some of the problems I can highlight are:

- No local phone support in Pakistan
- No physical presence in major cities
- No bulk/XML WHOIS facility available publicly
- No automated domain registration/modification system
- Un-necessary paper-document submission requirements
- Extremely high pricing
- No participation in public forums
- Ghostly appearance

We also want to extend thanks on behalf of the entire community to our hosts from the Indian Government's Department of Information Technology and from the National Internet Exchange of India," said Dr Paul Twomey, ICANN's President and CEO. The New gTLD's .ASIA and .MOBI will fail, miserably...

Greetings. The new GTLD's are a complete waste of time and effort, and are a massive failure before they've even been initiated. No one will build websites on them, and only speculators will buy them. Insiders and speculators have already bought up all the premium generic names. .MOBI and .ASIA domains are now worthless, because there will be little or no development on these names. The so called "Sunrise" and Landrush" are a joke: these periods were done so quietly and under the radar that only a very very small set of insiders have the best names.
