This place is nothing but spam!!!
Can we get some people to moderate please? This place has been taken over by spammers. Go ahead, look at any blog post, browse through the recent comments, it's all spam.
Does ICANN not have enough people available to staff someone here to remove spammers? If not, I'll do the job. This is getting a bit ridiculous.

Problems with VIZAWEB.COM FOR almost 3 days
Good Morning!
Since last Tuesday i'm unable to reach none of our domains under a Reseller Acount we have with VIZAWEB.COM. Even the domain vizaweb.dom is unreachable and, due to the fact that their website is unreachable we can not send them support messages.
Question: Where can we get help? at this very moment they do not answer the phone, not even the fax, and we have all our customers calling us and we are unable to give them a satisfactory answer.
ICANN's geographical diversity
This is the text of my comment during the Cairo public forum.
Accessing ICANN meetings remotely seems to be getting worse
It seems to be increasing difficult to participate in the ICANN meetings remotely.
I am wondering why there can't be an audio feed and chat room for all open meetings? And why are all audio feeds not archived? (Not everybody is in the same timezone so it is not always possible to listen to the audio feed real time.
Video feeds would be useful too I know they are bandwidth intensive but why not just archive them? Surely somebody could post them to Youtube even! (straight after the meeting)?
As an example of the problems take today's workshop -
GoDaddy had Makeuseof.com Stolen by Dubai Hacker
Statement by the proper owner of the domain, "Make Use Of's GoDaddy hosting account was hacked earlier today and the domain name, makeuseof.com, was transferred by the hacker to another web hosting company based in Dubai. We have absolutely no idea how this was achieved but we are currently in full contact with GoDaddy's fraud department to get our legal property back. Obviously this is deeply embarrassing for us but we will not rest until the domain name is back in our possession. We have all worked too long and too hard to watch it all slip away like this.

How much longer!
How much longer do we need to wait until ICANN allows free domains?
# Unlimited Hosting Space
# Unlimited subdomains
# Unlimited Bandwidth Transfer
# Anonymous FTP Server
This is what some of the guys out there have to offer for less than 100$ a year.
I really must wonder why!
Why can't ICANN register a generic top level domain and allow users to obtain as many subdomains as they want?
It costs only 100$ a year and the internet could be free for all.
Take an example from yuwie and yahoo and co. They offer unlimited webspace and registration is fully automated.
Cost Estimation - new gTLD Application Fee
Finally the cost of new gTLDs have announced, which is about US$185,000/- per application for 500 applicants.
Annual projected renewal fees for new gTLD registry is about US$75,000/-.
Its very high cost, last time it was US$50,000/- per application. I think only big organization will appear.
Are you disappointed?
