Registrar review
This forum has been set up specifically to attract comments from the wider Internet on what they believe is the best way forward for dealing with the problems exposed by registrar RegisterFly.
It is a forum, so we welcome debate on the issue, however ICANN retains the right to delete posts that stray off-topic, make libellous claims or accusations or which become abusive.
The hope is that this forum will help ideas coalesce into firm suggested policy changes.
So to kick things off: what changes do people believe should be made to ICANN's Registrar Accreditation Agreement, or outside that agreement, to make sure the (rare) RegisterFly situation doesn't happen again, while ensuring that the very successful registrar model isn't disrupted unnecessarily?

Public Forum Remote Comments
Those of us participating remotely are aware of the massive degree of lobbying underway at this Paris session which usually means long lines at the Public Forum microphone and limited opportunities for remote interaction. Is there a Public-Forum-specific email address to which we may send our comments/questions?
Public Forum questions
Hi Danny,
Yes - good point. You can do two things to raise issues in the public forum.
1. Fill in the online survey and select the one subject you would most like to discuss. Go to: http://www.bigpulse.com/p2168/.
2. Add your question - a question will be far more effective than a comment - on the dedicated webpage to the forum. The webpage is at: http://par.icann.org/en/wed25jun/public-forum.
You can add your comment by logging in and clicking on this link.
Kieren
laurence123 new Registered User with ICANN
Dear Kieren McCarthy, ICANN’s General Manager for Public Participation.
Following is a copy of what I have just e-mailed you.
--------------------------------------
Today as you may have noticed I registered as a user with ICANN so that I could participate in the proceedings as invited to do by ICANN.
While I was composing and sending my post to the forum I did note you were one of the people listed, along with myself, as a user at the forum and hopefully can assume that you would also be the first to see my posting about trying to reach you.
Actually I noticed that you are listed twice as a user at the same time, i.e. that your name is in the Online Users twice with my name there once.
If you would like me to fax a copy of my having printed it out, I would be happy to do so if you would be kind enough to send me your fax number or I can send, as an attachment a copy of my having saved the page we are both listed as being Online users with what I see is more people making a total of 5 users as follows (jaeyounkim, kieren.mcarthy, kieren.mcarthy, laurence123, kieren.mcarthy.
Actually it is just as easy to attach the page where we are now both listed as Online Users and am doing so in my desperation to be put in touch with some one who can be helpful.
I believe I truly will/may have gotten through to you this time.
Thanks again in advance for your possible help and/or referring me to some one who can help with my concerns.
Sincerely,
laurence cherniak.

Mr Cherniak,
I have literally just been writing and have since sent you an extensive email covering your communication with me, which also explains the delay in my response.

AMEN
You are right Kieren. People tend to forget that sometimes. One concern is that we must not allow this to happen again
