IDNC WG - Final Report on IDN ccTLD Fast Track & Public Comments

With the reference of Draft Final Report for IDN ccTLDs Fast Track, IDNC WG obtained Public Comments up to 23rd June 08 and posted on url http://forum.icann.org/lists/idn-cctld-fast-track/.

Along with others, I also have participated to submit some comments which were posted on the forum (as email archive).

Report was finalized uploaded on 26th June 08 for public http://icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-26jun08-en.htm.

But I can not understand that why none of those public comments were used in the Final Report. Even, I did not found any official comments on the public comments.

Only one reason I can guess that is: Time Limitation. Draft report may have prepared before Paris meeting and IDNC WG had to finalize it with in a very limited time to submit to Board. If the time was short then why the comments were obtained from public which could not be incorporated in this pre-finalized report?

IDNC WG and ICANN staff are requested to reply with reference.

In considering its recommendations the IDNC WG shall seek to act by consensus. The consensus view of the members of the IDNC WG shall be conveyed to the GAC and the ccNSO as the IDNC WG Final Report.
